#21 Ohio State @ #14 Illinois, 1/16/21 on Fox

Nobody before this game would have said this is a good shooting team, so no. Liddell was a 15% 3 point shooter and he hit 4 today, calm down with that
Ok, so say it was an unusually good shooting game for Liddell ... not the "bunch" or whole team. Obviously Cockburn being highly flawed defensively when pulled away from the basket makes Illinois susceptible to getting torched, so maybe it isn't all that surprising that EJ went off shooting over him.

I don’t think they’ll do that. But they could give the team in the double-bonus the option of 2 free throws OR 1 free throw and the ball out-of-bounds.

You're probably right, unfortunately.

Heaven forbid committing excessive intentional fouls be discouragingly punitive.

The 1-and-1 should've vanished when the three point shot was added. I guess I should be thankful they even have the double bonus.

Dont see this team beating anyone with size.

This thread was literally 1 minute old, with the Buckeyes leading, and you started with the negativity.

You may think you're contributing, but you're not.

BTW they've beaten bigger teams before, they beat a bigger team today and they'll have a shot to beat bigger teams coming up. If you don't like it, don't watch.

I liked the old NBA Rule where they gave you 3-to-make-2 on a shooting foul, and 2-to-make-1 if fouled while scoring. They killed that before the 1981-82 season.

I'm thinking that if game went another minute or 2 the Bucks would have lost; they seemed to have been fading down the home stretch. However, any win on the road in the B1G is a great win. It's really too bad they can't shoot 52.4% (or 11-21) from beyond the arc in every game. After Liddell's poor shooting game against NW, he game back really strong against Illinois. I'm sure the shortened season, new players, and injuries have been an issue with the team getting "comfortable" playing together; hopefully they eventually can achieve a good level of consistency in their play.

Today was a double win; Ohio State did and (previously undefeated) scUM didn't.....
