England was Ecuador-level trash for about 25 minutes and since has played pretty well but had typically lousy English luck. I’m biased for England but I thought the ref was letting a lot go one way for Congo even before the uncalled penalty.

Edit: Also, I will never understand why England ever starts Rashford in a World Cup game.
