Like them or not Messi and Lebron, the two that stand out the most, are two unbelievable sports figures that have found a way to still dominate in their respective sports with outstanding athletes and predominantly young men while they are graying and should be retired. Mbappe is 27 years old (this is his 3rd World Cup) and Messi is 38 years old (this is his 6th World Cup). In about 12 more years when all is said and done, Mbappe will have the World Cup goal record and it's not likely that anybody else will be all that close to it.
