This defense is ass

This defense just doesn’t have any ability to make game-changing plays. 1st and 10 from the 5 and they give up an easy 10 yard run up the middle. They apply zero consistent pressure on the opposing offense in any facet. They just sit back and hope the opponent does something stupid.

case in point. 2nd and 18 and it’s an easy pitch and catch for a 1st down.

8-4 at best. Defense exposed entirely.
Oregon, USC and IU all have better offensive teams.
At this point Iowa is questionable. What a waste of NIL money

This defense sucks this year. They don’t intimidate anyone. Hope some of it is youth, but they all seem slow to the ball. Like they all wait to see who’s gonna make the play
