Anduril Industries is deepening our ties to The Buckeye State. Today, we’re announcing Anduril is an official sponsor of Ohio State Athletics. This multi-year relationship reflects Anduril’s enduring commitment to Ohio and the Columbus community as we build Arsenal-1, our new 5 million-square-foot advanced manufacturing campus in the region.

It’s a natural relationship: The Ohio State University competes at the highest standard of athletic achievement. Anduril builds technology at speed and scale for the nation’s defense.

“To build the future of defense technology, faster, smarter, and more adaptive than ever before, we had to invest now and we needed critical partners to meet the nation’s needs; we found our critical partners in Ohio,” said Zachary Mears, Senior Vice President of Strategy at Anduril. “Just as my alma mater Ohio State has shaped Ohio’s identity for more than a century, we intend for Anduril to be a durable community partner, creating jobs, mentoring young talent, and delivering technology that keeps our nation secure.”

“Anduril’s investment in Ohio State Athletics goes well beyond a sponsorship,” Ross Bjork, Senior Vice President and Wolfe Foundation-Eugene Smith Endowed Athletics Director, said. “Our missions are in alignment with supporting student-athletes and making a positive impact on the broader community. We truly appreciate the Anduril leadership team seeing the value in Ohio State Athletics and thank them for their support.”

Anduril is making a similar long-term investment in the state’s future. Our hyperscale production facility, called Arsenal-1, is one of the largest advanced manufacturing facilities in the nation, and will open its doors just a few miles from campus. When complete, Arsenal-1 will produce autonomous defense systems in formidable quantities, create thousands of skilled jobs, and serve as a hub for innovation, training, and economic growth in central Ohio.

Anduril works to equip and inspire the next generation of engineers, innovators, and problem-solvers. Through the sponsorship, Anduril will support STEM engagement initiatives, workforce development programs, and military outreach. These efforts are designed to help prepare future leaders for careers in technology, manufacturing, and public service.

As an official sponsor of Ohio State Athletics, Anduril’s presence will be seen across Ohio Stadium, the Schottenstein Center and the entire athletic campus. Additionally, Anduril will serve as the presenting sponsor of Defend The ‘Shoe, a 12-part original series produced in partnership with Learfield Studios that gives Buckeye fans unprecedented behind-the-scenes access to the team’s pursuit of another national championship and exclusive profiles of the defensive standouts charged with protecting Ohio Stadium. Episodes will debut weekly throughout the season across Ohio State’s digital platforms and social channels.

From in-venue branding to game-day activations and community events that honor the military community, this partnership puts Anduril in front of Buckeye fans year-round. The multi-year relationship was secured on behalf of Ohio State Athletics by athletics multimedia rightsholder Ohio State Sports Properties, the locally based team of Learfield – the leading media and technology company powering college athletics.
