He's got a couple dudes, but obviously Illinois has got them taking shots they're not good at. I was not expecting Illinois to win this game, so it's surprised me how flat Houston has fallen offensively.

I wasn't referring to the B1G as we, just referring to us fans as a community. But I believe it's important for your conference to be strong to help attract top talent & improve your team as the year goes on. It's notable any time your league gets a team in the Final Four, and there could be more than 1 this year. I want the B1G to be perceived as a strong, competitive, top-tier conference, & this helps from that standpoint.

Agreed. I wouldn’t hate to see a B1G team bust our 20+ title drought as long as it’s not scUM. I also don’t hate the SEC likely having zero teams in the elite 8…

Nothing more than a moral victory but we beat two elite 8 teams. Impressed by Illinois last night. They controlled the game and took Houston out of their game. Texas was the hot team and has some length and athletes. Illinois could make a run. Purdue pulled out the W from staying disciplined and playing good team ball. Impressed with their win but don’t see Purdue as a serious title contender.
