2025 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments - NCAA: no wins taken away, no postseason ban

They can't help themselves. They are raving about their WRs over on GoBlow as well.

This after throwing for 250 yards against a team who finished 129/134 in pass D (they allowed over 350 passing yards 6 times) last year while also being on their 3rd set of coaches in 3 years. It's about as close to playing a HS defense as you can get when it comes to FBS competition.

This game vs New Mexico would be concerning for most fan bases. They are probably worse than last year (Their good running QB transferred to Utah and they replaced him with a FCS player) and last year they lost to Arizona (4-8) and Auburn (5-7) by more than Michigan this year. But of course DFBIA is out here acting like it was a star studded performance
For all intents and purposes, Underwood looks like he will be a good QB. He had decent numbers for a first start. Bad team or not.

But come on.....

You can tell the arm talent is there. He mostly made the easy throws you should make to wide open guys but he did overthrow some open guys badly on a few occasions. Arm Talent only gets you so far though we will see how he progresses overall as a QB.

The real question is where are scUMs WRs really at. You get absolutely no clue from that from them basically being unchallenged by New Mexicos bottom of the barrel secondary.

If their WRs are twice as good as last year, they’d still be average. I’m sure their TEs will be the ones making plays against good competition.
