2025 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments - NCAA: no wins taken away, no postseason ban

So let me get this right…

This was discovered during the season but “we need due process! Don’t punish the kids”.

Then due process is done and it’s “well you can’t punish the current team because they did nothing wrong”.

What a crock of shit. Fuck these assholes.

Kentucky and Arizona State got worse for far less. This is right up there with the worst integrity issues in sports and they got a penalty that’s typical of minor recruiting violations

Just can't help but feel the fines are a payoff to the NCAA. I know it doesn't work that way, but there's a feeling I'm having that, provided any University in question has deep enough pockets, the only punishment for any future infraction/cheating will only be monetary.

Really feel like something beyond just proper punishment has been lost today. The soul of the game has been compromised for money. And that connection my soul had to college football fades further and further.

Is there any reason they won’t continue to scout in advance? Moore is disposable and Ellison’s 9th wife getting him to spend money on the football makes any fine meaningless.

Plus they know what mistakes were made this time and how to hide it better. Coach cheats and wins, leaves for NFL, new coach coach gets hired and you can’t punish the kids so…A $20mil fine every 4-5 means nothing for rich boosters.
