2025 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments - NCAA: no wins taken away, no postseason ban

Imagine making the argument that Enron shouldn't be fined because they got rid of everyone who was involved in the scam and the remaining employees did nothing wrong.

This argument only works with college sports because people (fans and media alike) have infantalize these players as "kids" for so long. Because a 20 year old 400 pound defensive tackle who's making 6 figures in NIL, is on anabolic steroids, getting drunk as hell at parties and bars, driving a brand new Suburban, banging multiple chicks and can lift a car over his head is a "kid".

They are too stupid to make adult decisions and don't know what they're doing because they have horrible decision making skills. And they have horrible decision making skills because everything bad they have ever done is immediately forgiven. The worst repurcussions most of them ever face is running some laps in practice because they missed an assignment in a game. And all because they are infantilized by everyone because they are good at a sport. Then everyone wonders why they get in fights, knock up women out of wedlock, punch their girlfriends in the face and get DUIs

Three of the biggest lessons someone can learn in life is that there are consequences for your actions, that life isn't fair and that you will be judged for who you associate with. Letting college "kids" get away with literal murder only does them a disservice.

In fact, as professional athletes they are role models to young kids and should be held to a higher standard.

And it should start at today. At noon. Or whatever time the NCAA makes their public statement.

TCUN didn't "get rid" of anyone other than Stalions and Partridge, and they only did that when the evidence was so damning that they had no other choice. Everyone else was free to leave on their own terms for the NFL. Hell, they offered Harbaugh a god damned 10M/year extension that had a clause for immunity from ncaa violations in it.

Who the fuck is Spiro? I'm referring to the buckeye poster.
Premierdrum has posted a little well deserved pat on the back for somebody FINALLY acknowledging the fact that a post season ban has always been on the table.....a fact Michigan and their state media have denied all along. Other than that, like ORD said, they're probably just waiting like the rest of us. No need to delete accounts, though. PD has said all along that what he's reported has been based on the evidence. What the COI does with the evidence is completely up to them....and NOBODY knows what that is. Until noon.

There's going to be a few sad pandas in just a couple minutes. The offending parties receive theirs now ....
