This is an unrelated thing, but I have to share it here. I've said many times that message board culture is a loserly pursuit no matter what. Myself and 11W included. What I do is no different than being a popular Beanie Baby collector in the late 90s. I own that, and I hope my counterparts do as well. But what I have seen fascinated me more than when the Planet Earth docuseries came out.
So a friend said to me that "You're doing something right because even Michigan fans were agreeing with you" I asked what he meant and he directed me to a thread on 247 that I'd never seen that absolutely blew my mind. I'm not on the Fort, but I've obviously seen things from there and also MGoBlog. Just never this.
There is a 2 year old, massive thread. Like it's so big they had to break it into sections. It's just Michigan fans that screenshot and repost everything that me, 22 and PD say, the RCMB posters, and Bucknuts and then they debate it, or write fanfic about how they'd respond to us. This isn't like a general scandal thread. The thread's sole purpose is to repost everything we say and then the discourse around that. This the online version of those old men from the Muppet Show, except they are consuming nothing but Ohio State and MSU content and subsequently copying and pasting it on to the thread.
I want to reiterate this. For 2 years, unbeknownst to me, a group of hundreds, if not thousands of Michigan fans that I hadn't even noticed or thought about a millisecond of my life have been refreshing 11Warriors 1000 times a day like they were trying to buy Taylor Swift tickets, screaming into the void at me and breaking down my comments like the f***ing Zapruder film. It's seriously like a K-Pop fanclub. "OMG did you see 22Buck said THAT?!" "GIRLS get in here! PremierDrum just posted!" I never want it to end. I need it in book form ASAP. I would just print it but it would probably disrupt the Staples supply chain for a day to obtain that much paper. It is quite possibly the greatest display of self unawareness I have ever seen. "These guys are LOSERS!" says GoBlue97 after reposting screenshots of 22buck's comments that he obtained from his 700th refresh of 11Warriors for the day. It belongs in a museum. I want to just start saying crazier shit to see if their servers start smoking. God damn. It made my day. I unironically love it.
And look I don't know how much better wearing a balaclava on Netflix to talk about a vacuum reseller that cheated at football is than this little sewing circle of haters but again I'm at the very least self aware of the absurdity of what I do in my free time and the inherent loserdom of being an active message board poster. But anyway, this was an absolute joy to discover. I was smiling ear to ear scrolling through it. If you guys have known about this the whole time and have been holding out on me I'm disappointed in you

What else do expect with the most fragile fan base in the world. Steve Deace (deuce, whatever, he is still a stinky number 2) is a perfect example, hit your chest while "winning" but completely surrender when losing. I just looked up the interview they mention between Scam Webb and Warde Manuel. The relevant part starts around 35:00. 1. Uncomfortable is an understatement. Do these 2 even like each other?
2. Scam Webb is the weasliest looking supposed journalist I've seen in a min. I don't know if I could take anything from him seriously even if he wasn't North Korea's sports reporter.

Kirk Barton's presence taints anything he's involved in for me. He comes off as a guy whose absolute peak in life was being a CFB player and now he's clinging to that in any way he can because he cannot do anything else.
