2025 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments, etc.

The annoyance is that they’re not going to take away the natty because they weren’t, unless my timeline is messed up, still cheating then … never mind that all the recruiting to build the team and psychological edge on other teams was built on the cheating.
They already had all the data they needed to continue cheating.

DSA strongly suggested that the advantage that was enjoyed during the season continued, albeit attenuated, after the cheating was discovered. The data show that the cheating was most attenuated when the other team was snapping the ball quickly, indicating that their was lag in the communications to the on-field Wolverines, almost certainly because the laminates had to be moved to the press box after the cheating was discovered.

The point here is that this was clear to ME. Apart from the whole short-bus extravaganza, I am not special. If I can figure this out, someone please tell me that the NCAA figured this out.

Please?

Where are you seeing that the natty is definitely not being taken away?

Nobody outside of the Ministry of Excuses has said they're not taking away the NC*. Whether they were actively cheating during the end of the season is immaterial given that they were earlier in the season and those games had a direct impact on how they got there. I think they take it, but who the hell knows.

I believe the thought comes from Charlie Baker's comments about the national championship.
Who would've thought that an NCAA chairman might speak prematurely, stupidly, ignorantly, et cetera?

They cheated during the year they won the natty. If they take away a single game from that season, they essentially take away the title as well. It's up to the B1G to strip them of B1G championships, and it's up to the CFP to strip the CFP title.....but you don't get to play for the B1G title if you're found to have cheated in a B1G game (they did), and you don't get to play in the CFP if you didn't win your conference title.
So if they take away the NC, who gets to claim it, Bama or Washington?
