2025 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments, etc.

Yoder does not give the impression that he is anywhere near stupid enough to believe what he's saying there.

His point seems to be that there is a "bigger" cheater out there (gee, who could he possibly mean?).

Could any person with a functional frontal lobe possibly see scUM's cheating as anything less than the worst cheating scandal in the history of the NCAA by a very large margin?

If denial this is, it is a deeper level of denial than I have ever seen in the sports world.

Firs reply is of course a member of the ministry of propaganda

Yea "no one was harmed" except the teams/players that they cheated against, Yoder, you queef.

Fuck that guy with one of Zach Smith's dildos. Players were cheated out of trips to Indy and playoff spots. Coaches were cheated out of bonuses. CJ was likely cheated out of a fucking Heisman. Fuck that guy and his imaginary binder. Anyone honestly believe that jock-sniffer Ono (who's hated Ohio State since his UC days) would have sat on any evidence at all that Ohio State was cheating.

They have absolutely nothing, no real defense to what they did (there is none) so they just keep screaming and repeating every deflection they can think of. These are not actions of a group who know that they "totally did nothing wrong and it will be proven as that".

Everything these bozos do and say is a calculated scheme to try to make themselves look like the real victims when the NCAA comes hammering down on them.

Both of these quotes are from Balas today. lol at the last sentence talking about the Oline. Pretty much sums up why they were cheating.
  • The issues with last year’s line were obvious and glaring, one of the reasons El-Hadi called the play “unacceptable,” and it started with guys who were so worried about making mistakes and their own assignments that they never got a feel for the big picture, our source said. The best lines understand what’s coming on each play and can almost “read” defenses.
Can't stress enough - NOBODY at Michigan feels, or has felt, vacated wins or postseason ban is on the table. Either the NCAA is going to shock them and everyone is wrong, or the haggling is about how many games for Moore (which is what's been occurring). And yes, they are close to some people on the other side.

Classic set up for the "well my sources were wrong these things happen sometimes" excuse for being totally wrong (full of shit in this case)

They told their "media" that vacated wins and post-season bans were not on the table because that's the narrative they wanted at the time.
If it were really true, tcun would have made a deal a year ago for some $ and suspensions (heck, only Sharon was left to suspend).

Their "media" is all in on the scam with each other, the goal is to to appear to be "shocked" and completely caught off guard when major things come down on them so they can tow the line that the NCAA went against what was supposedly laid out and was deceitful the whole time (which is of course BS) creating that victim narrative

If the punishment was really going to be Moore just getting suspended for 2 games, some meaningless probation and a fine, they woulda settled and gotten this over with a long time ago.

Instead they are backed into a corner and just riding this out while spinning the PR machine to create a "its us who are really the victims here!' narrative.

As they spin round the echo chamber trying to convince themselves all is well, keep in mind that Ono going out the way he did is the concrete data point.

That happened and it can only be read one way.

University Presidents don't take step down jobs in the middle of the night voluntarily.

Exactly. Nothing that has been going on up there suggests that they are all just going to have a good laugh at a weak NCAA ruling and move on.

Yoder is a professional troll. When they were down, he trolled the DFBIA because that was his easiest path to clicks. Now he's working the opposite angle because...that's what gets him clicks.

They've known they are cooked for awhile, admitting to fault wouldn't do them any good as the penalties likely would not have been lowered much since clearly the NCAA was not going to budge. There was a point early on where they just shifted to deflection and playing the victim bullshit as their "strategy". The end game for scUM is to keep denying denying denying and to try to paint the NCAA as massively overreaching and being the real villain when the shit really comes down.
