2025 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments, etc.

COI: well this is going to sound really odd everyone but the only precedent for this goes back to a little known and never used ruling in 1867.

Tsun, you are required to hand over 30 hogs, 10 steer, 5 bushels of corn and 2 bushel of tobacco.

Tsun (elated): No problem! Here you go suckers.

COI: oh wait….also your head coach, or 3 administrators, are to be hung by their necks until dead.

You get to choose.

Rough break but frontier justice was harsh.

What does ending DEI have to do with the topic of this thread? Why do we give a shit about what upuniversity presidents and trustees have to worry about related to research funding and being forced to hire qualified white people again in the middle of a thread on a rival football team? You're spending time thinking about how they or to will craft strongly worded letters in response to punishments handed out by the COI? Should we feel sorry for them? What's your point?
The point is that what happens with the NCAA decision affects more than athletic departments. The teams are representatives of the schools. A failure to rein in Stallions and Harbaugh, or to discover what Weiss was up to is a major knock on UM’s administration.

As several have stated, the outcome of this case could have a devastating loss of confidence in the game i.e. fans may walk away in significant numbers. When added to other problems regarding revenue, a loss of football fans forces the schools to make decisions they don’t want to make. Why else would Ohio State move so quickly to remove Tressell and Urbs?
