Couple updates from two 11W all-stars:

Addressing the earlier questions about the practice footage... I mentioned a few months ago some of the reasons why I believe there won't be a new NOA issued for this:
1) The whistleblower provided the NCAA (through an investigating firm) incredibly detailed information on the advance scouting scheme but did not have the same level of detail on the practice footage (although Michigan did have it).
2) The NCAA would have had to invest a lot more time (in an already long process) to track down evidence of the practice footage... for very little gain. The sanctions from 6 Level 1 violations will be severe and the practice footage would not have changed the penalties meaningfully.
3) Is the access to practice footage an explicit NCAA violation? Yes, you could make a case it violates the "sportsmanship" bylaws but when dealing with a school that is fighting every charge based on technicalities and threatening litigation at the end, do you want to deal with that? Especially when you already have an iron-clad case that will sanction them heavily?
4) Accessing opponents' practice footage (by other schools) may have been a lot more widespread than many want to admit. Steps have now been taken by most schools to tighten their video security.
There are likely more reasons than these... in any case, you won't see an NOA for it. I also want to make sure people don't get their hopes up for another NOA related to the FBI's investigation. I know when the Weiss indictment dropped in March many assumed that would trigger additional NCAA action. It won't. The FBI is not sharing anything.
However, there is another issue unrelated to the FBI and their investigation that may finally be made public (although it will be very difficult to prove). If that happens there would be additional NCAA involvement.

Weiss accessed the server using the valid login of an existing OSU staffer.. this has been reported from the beginning and confirmed by several of us.

22buck 15 MINUTES AGO
I was told the name of the OSU staffer in October of 2023 by someone connected to Michigan. Allegedly, that staffer's login credentials were found on Weiss's computer. I had no reason to doubt the person who told me (they are definitely plugged in) but I've never been able to prove it completely. The only institutions who know for sure are Michigan and the FBI/DOJ and they're not talking. Interestingly, the DOJ didn't include that "computer theft" in their indictment of Weiss.
So, I can't say with certainty that Weiss was the one who accessed OSU's practice footage, although I strongly suspect it was him (with the possible assistance of one other former assistant). I can't say with certainty that the OSU staffer's login credentials were used (if they were, they weren't given voluntarily as the staffer is still at OSU in the same capacity). I can say with certainty that Michigan had the footage.

tsun isn't going to litigate shit. The threats will be gargantuan (so love that word but rarely get to use it in a sentence), but there is absolutely no chance they take this to an under oath discovery process with Stalions, Corum, Sharonna, both Partridges, Warde, Ono and Simple Jim.

Simple Jim alone would be a perjury a minute machine.
Surely you’re not saying a real Michigan man would commit perjury…
