2025 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments, etc.

No way Ono just accepts their punishment. He'll threaten (though not go through with) lawsuits and string the appeals out for as long as he can. Hopefully, that just makes the, come down harder but who knows at this point.
The way PD makes it sound, the NCAA will entertain the formality of the appeal, but has the ammo to shoot it down post haste.

In a 137-page response to the NCAA obtained by
@YahooSports
, Michigan intends to fight allegations of the Stalions scheme, accuses NCAA of overreaching, defends Sherrone Moore’s deleted texts & reveals that the original NCAA tip came from its own campus

Not much substance in here but an update on where things stand in the process, I suppose.

Probably the only thing of note is that Michigan admitted this all came from a rat within their program.

I did not see an apology for the death threats Day & his family received from Michigan's fan-created PI-gate conspiracy theory.

The "failure to monitor" language seems significant.
However, six of the 11 violations are deemed to be Level I and the NCAA asserts that Michigan “failed to monitor” its football program given the severe nature and multi-year length of the Stalions scheme. The university and several of its coaches are considered repeat offenders, an allegation the school refutes in its response.

These documents were very obviously chopped up by Michigan and sent to Dellenger for public consumption.

They just continue to give the NCAA the finger...

Even then they aren't favorable for scUM. If this is the "good" then I really can't wait to see the bad.

This is a not very good attempt to try to win in the court of public opinion.
