2025 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments, etc.

Food for thought;

Not even states like Alabama, Texas, Arkansas and Mississippi have had to use the state legislature to try and get the football schools out of trouble.

Just sayin'
So I wasn't thinking of it as their attempt to avoid punishments. I was thinking of it as their way of avoiding having to play by the rules.
Their choice will be to avoid punishments and playing by the rules, but forever be destroyed as a program because they won't be able to schedule any competition, or getting their plunger shoved up their asses to the backs of their teeth, and being destroyed for a few years while serving out their post-season ban.
Seems pretty simple to me, but let's see if it's that easy to them.

Friendly reminder that Michigan football were dirty fucking cheaters in their glory days (1900) and played ineligible graduated players from the east coast, when they refused to stop, they got kicked out of the Big Ten from 1907 to 1917. They’ve never been good in their entire history without cheating (and playing high school teams). Fuck them.

So, where was the university general counsel in all this? That is 100% who the fbi reaches out to. Then, he would take it to Ono and the two of them would then call in Warde and Simple Jim.

Any decent lawyer dealing with a federal sexual predator case would also keep detailed notes of these meetings. Now, with Ono, it's perfectly plausible that he would stop it right then and there so as to not disrupt the team. The finger pointing is going to be epic, and the general counsel holds the real answers.

Yeah, I was thinking about this and I guess from this perspective (and once again this particular part of this case has a real creep and real victims beyond football so I don't want to lose sight of that) I would find it very surprising if the university's (or athletics) liability carrier hadn't already deposed anyone with knowledge of Weiss's activities... At the very least "who knew what and when" - if there's anything worse than old Vegas, its insurance companies.

Subpoena Time! And Ono too. Deposed under oath, and I guarantee you that Harbaugh will be a walking perjury machine.

As long as he keeps winning, Harbaugh will be fine. You can pretty much get away with anything in the NFL. Moore and Ono are finished though.

I agree that winning makes the NFL look the other way but the Simple One went to what, 3 straight NFC title games with the 49ers? They were helping him pack his bags to get rid of him.

It's hard to wrap your head around how abrasive a personality has to be to get fired while winning in an environment like the NFL.
