I don't know how he did in Vancouver because I thought I was done thinking about him at that point. However, at UC he accomplished nothing and his scheming and antics alienated many politicians and business leaders in the state. At tsun, he was literally about to be rode out of town on a rail. The only thing that I can see him bringing to UF is that he'll be a sycophant for Desantis in a job that I'm assuming better candidates didn't want whereas he was desperate to take (and do) anything that allowed him a soft landing out of Ann Arbor.

Pulled up behind a car with a "Michigan" license plate holder, the lower part read 2023 National Champions. I wanted to get out of my car and scratch out the lower part. Maybe I'll start carrying a black tape dispenser and cover that shit up every time I see it. Is it June 5th yet?

Requires getting out of your car… they might pull away before you apply the sticker. Works ok for stationary vehicles in parking lots, but for most situations you’re going to want a long distance asterisk applicator

This is very true. We, however, need a different colored asterisk that denotes "university, President and Athletic Director did everything correct when they learned about it."
I'll always go back to my analogy that Ono is a poor man's Gee. Gee loved to associate himself with the football team and build his little cult of personality off of that affiliation. When, however, push came to shove he did the right thing. When push came to shove with Ono he doubled down on it and revealed himself to be an emotionally damaged jock-sniffer desperately trying to gain the acceptance of guys who would have shoved his head into a swirling toilet in high school.

This is what has truly blown my mind about this whole thing - the cheating is what it is; a failing coach was backed into a corner decided he couldn't get the job done on the level and decided to cut corners to win. That's bad, really bad, but the fire could have been contained. Instead, the most snooty school in the country did everything it could to conceal, obfuscate, and generally just be pains in the asses about it from the very top of the university proving themselves to not only be the type football factory they always turned their noses up at, but the very worst kind. That high horse they've climbed up in for decades has been burnt to ashes.
