I watched their Spring game. He looked OK throwing outs and slants, but really struggled whenever he tried to throw downfield. Until the game’s final play where the flea-flicker to a wide open wingback/TE went almost 90 yards, making his final stats look mediocre instead of really bad.
Their WR room is awful, not even remotely close to being good enough to be able to have a consistent passing game outside of dink and dunks in B1G play. Even if they had brought in a proven decent QB from the portal even they woulda struggled.
Their "best" offense this year is likely going to be Underwood running on broken plays. But even then how willing is NIL baby Underwood going to be to put his body in danger for a 7-5 at best season?
