2025 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments, Arrogant Twatwaffles, Emasculated Cucks, Feckless Marmots, Dirty Cheaters "Mid"chigan

So, suddenly, you proritize your moral imperative, and refuse to tolerate the behavior - behavior which is (conveniently) clearly outlined in University policy as zero-tolerance.
If *ichigan had made the playoffs, who here thinks they would have done any of this?
That woman would have been <persuaded> to stay quiet, at least until they were eliminated.
That zero tolerance policy is only as ironclad as a company's will to follow the policy.

It's easy to come to that conclusion but if things went down as said and outside pressure (parents) also came in, I don't think they woulda been able to keep the lid on it, I think it's pretty clear they didn't want to fire Sherrone (well some donors/regents obviously did) they were more than happy with keeping this all on the down low and letting things just continue as is, but their hand was forced in the end.

Xichigan isn't fooling anyone with their sudden sense of morality.

Agree that it would have waited until after the playoffs.

No matter what pressure is being applied, people can almost always be held off - charmed and assuaged, while hearings and meetings are conveniently scheduled into future. Appealing offers can be made to the aggrieved party involving great jobs in other departments, or even, high paying outside-job offers can be made, by well-placed friends of the University.

I guess it's possible emotions were running sooo high, maybe because of a high-octane breakup between the affair partners, that UM had no way to effectively protect Sherrone - but we'll never know, because I'm sure they didn't want to protect him. They had no reason to. So it looked better to get on the high horse and fire him immediately because "we don't tolerate this kind of thing at UM!!"

Zero tolerance policy - maybe I'm just too jaded, but I've never seen it used as anything but a tool to fire someone whom management already wanted fired.
