A couple of 6/3 upsets, but is this the year Olentangy gets their first state title? Certainly one of the favorites.
Can St. X fair better in their rematch with Moeller? Got handled earlier this year pretty easily, 30-13.
D2
Harrison with a 7/2 upset over Kings Mills
Not sure how it'll play out but an Anderson vs. Massillon title game would be pure cinema. Add Hoban and Highland into that Final 4 and that'd be the (realistic) dream. A Hoban/Walsh Jesuit regional final would be a great appetizer, one more week until that can happen though.
D3
TCC might be a 6 seed, but come playoff time it doesn't matter. Runner ups last year and they are peaking. Could we have a regional 6 seed win it all? Not betting against it.
D4
Looking like we are a week away from a Glenville/Perry regional final, should be a blast.
Taft vs Indian Hill next week...what a semi...11-0 vs. 11-0...game of the week?
D5
Lady Liberty battle of undefeateds next week....11-0 Liberty Center vs. 12-0 Liberty-Benton
And finally....***UPSET REGION, UPSET REGION***....we get our first #1 seed down! Williamsburg loses to North Union, 47-14!
Not to be outdone, #11 Mariemont wins their second straight road playoff game, this time smoking Miami East 30-0. The world wants, and needs, an 11 vs 8 regional final!
D6
Garaway with a 7/2 upset over Crestview, 34-0. Get smoked Rebels.
They now will face a 6 seed in Dalton as they upset Columbia.
**UPSET ALERT** Carey as a 9 seed takes down #1 Castalia Margaretta, 35-7!
Coldwater vs Tri-Village next week, should be a blast.
D7
Another 7/2 upset with East Canton winning by 20 over Fairport
And another....Pandora-Gilboa with a 63-42 win over #2 North Baltimore. That's a lot of points.
Danville, an 11 seed, gets another dominant win, this time over Fisher Catholic. They won on the road 54-0 last week, and last night on the road 59-8. Blue Devils play up almost all year so they are ready this time of year.
12/4 'upset' with Fort Recovery winning 38-6 over formerly unbeaten Eastern.
11/3 upset with Cedarville over Country Day, 49-21.
