Another new year, and a bit of a different year with the top 4 seeds in each region receiving a bye in the opening round.

OHSAA is updated and should give you everything you need to follow along this weekend

I believe all games will be on 10/31 at 7PM, not ideal and will hurt attendance but it is what it is. I would have liked to seen Saturday games but I know the extra day of prep and planning is big for all involved.

some communities have changed trick or treat to Saturday to encourage people to go to the games, my community did not - our boys have a road game. I'm guessing if it had been a home game, they would have changed

Plenty of people at our playoff game on Friday - had to drive through multiple communities trick or treat on the way to the game. Both bands dressed up in costumes, overall fun atmosphere.

Looking at scores, i didn't see many surprises, but some interesting matchups this week. D4 - Norton at West Branch could be a game of the year contender, both offenses are potent and both defenses are solid - i'll be very curious to see how that plays out
