I just don’t understand the NFL most of the time.

They get caught up in prototypes and Will Howard is the prototypical quarterback. He’s 6’5 240 pounds, he’s fast, he’s a leader, and He’s great in the pocket. Yet he still doesn’t go as one of the top few quarterbacks.

Then the NFL gets caught up into numbers. Well, Will Howard has that too with one of the most accurate seasons in Ohio State history, he was great at spreading the ball around, and he was for the most part very good at protecting the football. Yet he still again isn’t one of the first few quarterbacks drafted.

I just wonder what it is that they don’t like because I agree with Gruden. How is this kid not QB1?

Then you get into this stage of the draft such as the third round and why the hell would you take a defensive end from a small school when Jack Sawyer is sitting there available? Why would you take a safety that hasn’t played in big-time games when Ransom is there? The same thing goes for Jordan Hancock.

I get all the Shedeur hate but dios mio drafting Dillion Gabriel in the 3rd round, even if it’s a supplemental pick, you might as well wipe your ass with the pick because if he’s the savior for the browns, well just go ahead and launch them into the sun
I don't think anyone is looking at Gabriel as a savior of the Browns....but I don't hate it either. Would have rather seen them go with a receiver and then get Gabriel or Howard in the 4th.
