I’m surprisingly pumped for this game….cant wait to see the training wheels come off for Sayin and see some big chunk plays.

Will be great to see the backups get some reps too.

I get it….its more like an exhibition game. That said, it’s also the best time to see some future studs and also see some explosives.

We earned it after week 1. I think the team will enjoy it too…

Keep in mind….we paid UCONN $650K to break our contract with them bc, truthfully, I don’t think they wanted to gameplan after Texas very much. The staff wanted a break too…..not that UCONN would’ve beat us, but they would’ve required some level of respect.

If we had lost to Texas, I think the fanbase would’ve been rampant with indignation about bailing on UCONN for Grambling. Day wins again….
