2025 Cotton Bowl: #2 tOSU vs #10 Miami-FL, Wed 12/31 7:30 ET at JerryWorld

Day getting pantsed by a career mid coach like Cristobal is a concern
Kirby got pantsed by Marcus Freeman last year lol. It‘s not that serious. This loss sucks but I’m kinda over it. It’s honestly a miracle the team was as good as it was given all the losses. If this team was like last year when they pretty much had everything they needed and still couldn’t get it done I’d be depressed. I think a solid OC hire and a few good portal additions are all that’s needed.

I think the OC will probably be a homerun hire but not sure how the OL situation shakes out.

Oh and change everything about STs lol.

I’ve got a lot to say…..waiting until tomorrow to let it out….

Super embarrassed by the strategy and performance though….its hard to imagine self-scouting your performance against Indiana, and somehow getting worse…

Yet, that’s exactly what happened. I don’t expect OSU to be an unbeatable juggernaut every year….thats not realistic….yet, I also don’t expect them to trip over their own dicks every time they’re in a fight with another team that has comparable talent. OSU got embarrassed tonight….and to me (and many people with $$$) it wasn’t because of the players…..it was because of the approach to the game and the position the kids were put in.

Ryan Day saved his job with the Natty last year, but he’s shown a really soft mentality throughout his tenure (and awful clock management as well).

There were moments in tonight’s game I couldn’t believe what I was seeing….ill save it for another post.

Bummed about the loss, but not surprised. Will be hard to watch football tomorrow knowing we’re more talented than every team left in the field. Frustrating.

It was a joy watching this season with you all. I will catch most of you during the off season. Everyone here has made watching Buckeye games less stressful and less lonely. Going through ups and downs of Buckeye football is certainly better than enjoying and suffering in solitude.

Much love and Happy New Year. I hope you all can find joy in things other than Buckeye football.

Can you honestly say that he improved over the course of the season?
Yes did you watch him the first few games? He needs to get better at reading the center to the field and throwing it away. But dude he was roughed up to end the season yes. But you're crazy to think a redshirt fresh through 78% completion should be sat for someone who hasn't done it for a full game.

Just a bitter bitter end to this year. It's very hard to repeat but laying total clunkers in losses in both of our last 2 games to end the season just leaves a sour taste in the mouth.

Similar problem that CJ Stroud had. Can run but won't run. We have seen in the NFL that CJ can really run too.

I have no clue how good or bad of a runner Sayin is since we have barely seen it in game. There are YouTube videos of Sayin doing running jumping throws, he doesn't look that immobile or unathletic.
The first snap that CJ ever took was a 50+ rushing TD. He could always run. Day tells them not to. Contrast that with Tressel who emphasized how important step up runs were for the offense.

Hell of a season and nice for Day to get the michigan monkey off his back. Looking forward to another season of watching these young men battle it out for us fans.
Not really mad they lost, just mad about HOW they lost.
I went in to this season with absolutely no expectations. Considering all the guys we lost to the NFL, losing both coordinators and starting a new QB I thought it could be anywhere from a 9-3 season to a playoff run.
Although winning the Conference would have been nice and they need to get back there, they got the UM monkey off their backs and performed better than I thought they would.
Hated losing to Miami but I tip my hat to them. They were the more physical better team last night and earned the win.
Going forward, hopefully the staff the areas that need improvement and work on it for next season.
Now begins the long, long offseason.
Which is better? Kansas City or Carolina BBQ?
