Honestly, they taste amazing still. Before the year, a successful season was beating scUM and making the playoffs. While I know we had the ability to win it all and am disappointed, I'll still call this year a success

The pick 6 was the game. That made it a major uphill climb. Sayin made a very bad rookie mistake at the absolute worst time when he's had pretty great decision making all year

Not all , but he is just not a good kicker.

Fielding missing was damaging but basically the whole team sleep walking through the first half was the way bigger issue. Having to pray your kicker who soils himself at the sight of his shadow in big moments makes a long kick for him to salvage not getting shut out in the 1st half is just a bad situation to put yourself in.

I know I’m being selfish, but the underclasses need to come back for another run. The NFL sucks anyway unless you play for a big market team who has any hope of making the playoffs

Even if they did (and I doubt the major guys like Smith, Tate, Downs and McDonald do), the only way to make a legit run is to hit the portal hard on OL and DL...otherwise the result won't change. Sayin can't mask the gaping holes on the OL with any running ability and the run blocking was specious at best. So there's a chance if they overhaul the trenches and after losing the better ones to the draft and graduation.

We certainly need options. We tried last year but missed out with what was supposed to be our starting LT. Sucks but we swung as missed last year. Austin was not and is not a LT and I hope we correct that this off season so Austin can play his natural position which is RG.

If we can go Portal-Monty-Carson-Austin-?? Then that’s a good start. IMO both our tackles aren’t good enough.
