2025 College Football Playoffs Discussion (12 Team Format)

Thanks. Listen….I never once cheered for IU vs Ohio State. I went to school there for 1) the business school 2) Southern Indiana girls/blondes/#1 party school (by Playboy in the mid 2000s) and 3) In-State tuition

But, I do have a Hoosier degree so this is pretty wild to witness. They won 11 games in my 4 years on campus. I can’t even comprehend what just happened (easy schedule and a lot of positive momentum?). They’re legit. 16-0 is crazy.

I was decked in OSU gear 5 weeks ago at the Big Ten in Indy.

But yeah, once the Bucks screwed the pooch, this was a pretty crazy train to jump on board. Had to enjoy it locally.

Hoping Day rebounds and figures out this new era.

Don’t understand the Fernando hate. He’s got a 6 year old in a candy store personality.
Me neither.
He’s the biggest dweeb. I say this kindly but probably a touch of the ‘tism too. Just a pure goofball.
Yeah, but you probably could have said the same thing about Peyton and Eli Manning at this stage in their careers; and they ended up with 4 Super Bowl rings between them.

I see 0 percent chance of his success in the NFL. But he’ll go down as a legend in college football.
I disagree. I guess it could depend on your definition of successful; however, I think he has a very good chance of being successful in the NFL. IMO. He has demonstrated the following traits/abilities:
1. Good team player, doesn't seem to have an over inflated opinion of himself, and seems to be very coachable.
2. At this stage in this development he seems to read the defenses well.
3. Accurate passer on all his throws.
4. Performs extremely well under pressure and on the "big stage".
5. Can take licking (hard hits) and keeps on ticking.
6. Has proven to be a "winner".
The only negative might be that he has only had 1 season as a top tier performing college QB.
Anyway, (with the exception of Baker Mayfield) he almost has a 99 44/100% chance of being more successful in the NFL than the last dozen or so QBs the Browns drafted.....
