2019 was about as good as it gets. That D was loaded at all 3 levels. 2016 was also elite. I like this D but there are still question marks. DT and LB are unknown and I don't see an elite pass rusher. Great to have JT back tho. He would've been tough to replace

DT we still have Tyleke so I wouldn't call it an unknown. I would call it good maybe great if he ups his consistancy.

LB is definitely a question mark though

Yeah here's hoping that the light comes on for Hicks and Styles slides down to be an LB as well. They need some dynamic blitzers with better coverage skills.

The only tweak I want to see is more aggression at times. There's a happy medium between 2022 and 23.

Not sure if this is a question that needs to be asked, but will all the D line returners are we assuming some changes are happening with LJSr and Knowles? I don’t mean change of staff, but more of an agreement with them on the same page.

Feels like this defense is really good at all 3 levels. JTT solidifies it.

LB and a true DE disrupter at pass rush are my only slight concerns. Hope Sawyer finds more speed and wreaks havoc to be the Bosa/Young guy.

They should be good enough to hold teams to 20-24 points, tops. Good enough for me. Then my eyes turn towards Day’s side of the ball to beat that…

Penn State JTT shows up at least half the year and we'll have an Elite DE. Missouri sawyer as well and watch out
