so because they publicly threw a huge bag of money at a QB who didn't want to be there, they lost the QB that DID want to be there.

am i getting that right?

so now they have no QB?

at this point, the NCAA might not even need to sanction them back to the Stone Age. it looks like they're doing it to themselves.
Pretty much. And it was always a longshot to begin with because Underwood has never expressed an desire to stay home and play for the cheaters.

Gonna be even funnier when they ultimately lose out on Miller Moss and end up with some random lower level transfer who's currently a backup at some school or a mid G5 starter as their "savior" for 2025. Not that Moss is a savior anyways.

It's looking like a very weak transfer class for QBs, with Moss, Jackson Arnold and Connor Weigman looking like the "top" options at the moment.

And there will be dozens of schools in the portal looking for QBs, none of whom will be squarely under the head of the NCAA's hammer.

Their outlook for 2025 is not looking very good even before potential NCAA sanctions. They'll be begging Orji to comeback and be their QB if the sanctions hit hard. That's how dire the situation will get.
