*2024 tCun Shenanigans, Arguments, Cobras, Feckless Marmots, Fake Pandas, Dirty Cheaters

Harbaugh pretty much told them to fuck themselves, and I don't see Ono doing anything but stalling and stonewalling. If the tcun don't agree to their penalties by the 90 day mark, they need to just turn it over to the COI.
How long does the committee take to come up with a penalty?
If I were on the committee, or maybe in charge of it, we'd already have something in mind. We'd be watching the clock and when it hits 00:00, we're hitting the button that has whatever punishment we've decided on.
Who is on this committee? How do I get on this committee?

That's what PD seems to be suggesting is in play, though he's gone radio silent lately.

After all the refusing to cooperate and stonewalling, I can't imagine that tcun have any goodwill left in Indy. Let's just hope they have the balls to act.

This is our concern, Dude.

To me, this is an open and shut case. They've done everything wrong and pissed a host of people off the whole way. They should fry. BUT, does the NCAA have the stones to level one of their cash cows? I'm dubious on that. I'm hoping all of the harsh language that we've read in the leaks is an indicator of the level of "fuck you" the NCAA is working with, but who the hell knows.

I really kind of expected tCun to accept their fate and just kind of genuflect once their season went in the shitter in the hopes of starting their clock on any kind of bans early. But looks like they won't be doing that.

That depends, do you plan a firing squad with entertainment?

The final week of the season the chatter about the new playoff format will be intense. Nobody makes any money by introducing the distraction of last years champ having their crown stripped.

Had the clock run out midseasoin - maybe then. But I see any announcement being pushed back to late January at the earliest.

Hmmmmmm. I think it would be an incredible story. One that would draw interest to the new system and away from the NFL.

Does the committee have access to the nuclear launch codes?

Just a reminder for those of you with the time and inclination to pursue this, (or who know PremiumDrum), a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request could theoretically be used to seek the University of Michigan’s response to the NCAA’s Notice of Allegations, since UofM is a public institution. I hope that if someone pursues this that they have the means to settle in for a fight. Certain information, especially regarding ongoing investigations or sensitive personnel matters, can be exempt from disclosure under state law. The cheaters may choose to withhold parts of the response if they argue it falls under protected categories, though a requester could appeal such a decision. I hope someone tries it, if only to give us more to talk about during the playoffs.
