Guy was a low 3* recruit who was a sub 50% passer in HS and scUM didn’t trust him to throw at all even when defenses loaded the box when he came on, probably for good reason. So naturally DFBIA is convinced he’s going to be some stud. He’s basically a little faster light version of Joe Milton.

Is there really a living, breathing human being who thinks that it is necessary to “band together” (or do anything else) to combat the delusion of fans of other teams?

correct me if I have this wrong, but it seems to me that the delusion of the more unhinged members of an other team’s fan base is much more entertaining if allowed to grow unchecked until it comes crashing to earth in spectacular fashion

Quite aside from that, why would their delusion warrant a response? What is that response going to accomplish? Nothing? OK then… multiply that nothing by all of these fan bases banding together. What do you get? Still nothing? Is my math right here?

It's likely real.

The funny thing is a good amount of scUM fans seem to really think they are going to go undefeated and not skip a beat with a downgraded roster and gutted coaching staff. Is that really any different than Oregon or USC fans thinking they are going to come in and just dominate?
