I mean I don't want to be offensive to anyone here but for a Country with so many weapons Americans sure are soft in terms of sports. There's no way something like this would be possible here in Europe without at least the prospect of retribution. The dude would be signing a death sentence in many countries here if a similar situation was to unfold.

I’m glad we aren’t like that, especially with guns. I’d replace the word “soft” with “not sociopathic.”

Pretty wild to say this like it’s a bad thing.

Still think they will be better than we all hope.

They were going to take a step back even if Harbaugh returned. There is just way too many questions on offense (and not enough proven returning talent to answer all of them) and while the defense should still be good it wont be as good as it was the last couple of years.

They aren't going to go 3-9 but they aren't going to win 11/12 games either. I think somewhere between 7-5 and 9-3 is a realistic expectation.

2025 though has a chance to be a real real bad year for them with what their roster outlook currently is looking like.

Shitting on American gun culture while puffing the chest of European hooliganism was definitely a take.
A take, huh

That's one way to put it I guess

An obvious attempt to stir shit up with a post that was intentionally stupid and self-contradictory

It's almost a shame someone didn't rise to the bait out of sheer pity for how pathetic an attempt at trolling it was

Which European country is he from?
One we had to kick out of here a couple times or one we had to save from having their national language changed to German?

If there is one thing about the NCAA is they have proven themselves inconsistent, and that is the issue.

There will definitely be sanctions, which will probably piss off both Scum fans and other university fans, because they will be worse than Scum fans want, and not as strong as everybody else wants.

The NCAA is not a government agency. The government makes legislation and rules that may move the NCAA to act in a certain way. They are not a government agency. Probably a close resemblance would be the American Bar Association, which accredits law schools and make recommended rules for each state bar to possibly adhere to.

Anyway.... stuff will get real for sure.

Take the Hairball contract stuff out of the picture, and it is amazing Manuel has a job for the many other mismanaged things he has presided over with their program(s).

I think the problem is they are all intertwined in the corrupt boat they placed themselves into, and they can't get out of it without exposing everybody in it. That is my take.

That is what is what Scum fans can't see, and that is plainly obvious to anybody looking in from the outside.

Sorry I didnt mean it like it was a bad thing, to me it's a bit surprising how things rarely escalate at a sports level when compared to politics in the US, usually in Europe it's the other way around. Just as an example, a Galatasaray coach once planted the Galatasaray flag in Fenerbache's midfield () and in the following week a Fenerbache fan infiltrated the Galatasaray stadium, went to the pitch while brandishing a knife to everyone that came close just to plant Fener's flag in Galatasaray's midfield. And this is a "basic" rivalry story there are many other across Europe way more insane. To me violence doesn't make sense in sports (and in politics of course) but the reality in Europe is so different that it's so weird, to me that I'm so used to that, to see how the dynamic changes just by crossing the Atlantic Ocean.

I'll leave another video here just so you can understand the immediate aftermath
