*2024 tCun Shenanigans, Arguments, Cobras, Feckless Marmots, Fake Pandas, Dirty Cheaters

Is this verified as legit? Is this the NCAA's wording? If so, there's no way they're avoiding LOIC and goes a long way towards the belief that inviting Simple Jim back is a big fuck you because they know they're totally screwed no matter what.

I think the most damning sentence in the whole thing is "institutional efforts to hinder NCAA investigation." Ono can't possibly keep his job after that.

You know on one hand I get their behavior.

If this was a school like OSU for example. Ryan Day would’ve been placed on leave, the employees involved would’ve been the same, and the would’ve likely ended the season once the big ten stepped up.

TCUN- they knew this was their most talented roster ever and I admit it was a very good team. They knew they could absolutely not afford to take measures to do what was right. Because they knew this was it. They knew there’s no way if they cancel the season they’re back anytime soon. So their thoughts are “well we were caught so might as well go win it all before the shows done”. That’s why we saw them gladly accept Jim’s punishment. They knew that kept them alive for post season play.

Taking the high road just doesn’t work out most of the time. Lie, obfuscate, and deny for just as long as you can. Once it’s obvious that the allegations are true, change the story and attack the accusers.
In their case it was just “stall as long as you can and at whatever cost do not get the season cancelled”.

Good on them because they’ll always have it. If the buckeyes were in that position this year for example (knock on wood with the Betflix special coming) I’d be like “just get the punishment to next season”

If you could have the option as an Ohio State fan to "win" a natty like SCUM did , would you ? No fucking way I would want any part of that championship. Especially given what it's about to cost them ....

Except that while all you mentioned are communicable diseases, COVID is significantly more severe. I’m guessing that there are more than a few athletes in Paris pissed that Lyles wasn’t asked to withdraw from competition. Meanwhile, fuck Michigan.
COVID now is no worse than a cold. That's why COVID-positive athletes were allowed to compete if they chose to.

This is why my pipe dream is for when the NCAA releases their penalties that they put the cherry on top and change the 2020 game from "Cancelled" to "Forfeit."
This is what most people aren't talking about enough. If they are forced to forfeit wins from the past 3 years, not vacate, they would lose 40 total games and change the entire picture.

Scunts: 1,004-353-36 and 1st in all time wins with a .734 winning percentage to 964-393-36 and .705 winning percentage. Currently that is good for 1st and tie for first, with guess who? If those things occur that should occur, they would drop to a tie for first with The Ohio State University and Alabama. Their win percentage would tumble to 7th.

Ohio State would then be in the lead for all-time wins and winning percentage. Do the right thing NCAA!!!

I don't want it killed the way SMU was killed. I want to beat those ass-turds down until they lose their oh-so-precious all-time wins glory, and their head-to-head wins with Ohio State. Take both of those from them, and then you can kill them, if you want.
I feel like a gangster in a movie. Don't kill the rival leader, yet. Let him stay alive to watch his family starve to death... THEN kill him. I know that's pretty gruesome, but when I remember it's really just college football, I'm okay with it.
I'm for a MOAB landing smack dab in the middle of that shithole stadium. You can evacuate campus beforehand. Or not

Man… you think they were given that option? Nope their idiot HC and program decided that for them.

So for fans it was simple… attempt to win it all now or accept punishment now. It’s not morally right but they chose “win now”. I don’t blame them. They’re fucked these next few years. So they could’ve been fucked for 2 more decades or they could win one potentially and then be fucked for the other 19 years
