FWIW, another guy posted this on X:
NC State’s 14 losses this season are the most ever by a team that advanced to the Final Four.
The Wolf Pack are the 6th 11-seed to advance to the Final Four — the previous 5 all lost in the semifinals.
Previous-most was 13 losses by 3 teams:
2016 Syracuse
2000 North Carolina
2000 Wisconsin
Those 3 teams all lost in the semifinals to suffer their 14th loss of the season.
