Not watching the game but glancing at the stats I see that Clemson is out shooting AZ but getting their asses beat on the boards. If AZ can shoot just a little better and tighten up the D they can easily win this.

Living in Arizona I have been exposed to Arizona basketball for a long time and since Lute left the program hasn't been the same. Sean Miller got blue chippers like Kentucky does that underachieved for the most part and disappeared. Tommy Lloyd gets unknowns, starts the season ranked low, overachieves, gets a high seed in the tourney and fizzes out,.

Mountain West, with 6 teams in the field, had 2 teams win in the Round of 64. Utah State, which got routed by 40 against Purdue, and San Diego St, which got trounced by 30 vs UConn. Tell me again why the Committee can't see through this metrics smokescreen?

Arizona has underachieved in the NCAA tourney, now 6 years in a row. They have not advanced to the level their seed would seemingly help them reach even one time in 6 years, losing to a team at least 4 seed lines lower each year.
