2024 College Football Playoffs Discussion (12 Team Format)

Penn St got the sweet draw.

With the current system, the committee got it right.
Now, the system should be changed to make it more fair.
It might seem like a sweet draw but I don't think so. These supposed underdog types always play harder and if taken lightly can bite you in the ass. My worry is what the scUM loss could have done to the psyche of the team and if they're motivated or feeling beaten down inside. That was a HUGE deflation.

From a betting perspective, UGA was the big winner. Before the final selection there were 4 teams with about the same odds to win the NC: Texas, Oregon, UGA and OSU. Then there was a pretty good sized gap to the next teams.

3 of the 4 ended up on the same side of the bracket

If you like futures bets, UGA is a good one imo.

This regional belief will never end unless they move to a super league and everybody plays everybody.

Take 2 teams from the B1G and 2 teams from the SEC in each division as often as possible and just let it all find an equilibrium.

It’s tired already.

I would avoid it till the status of Beck is known. It’s one thing to have a backup come in and ignite the team, quite another to hand him the reigns and say “Ok kid, go win the Sugar Bowl.”
