2024 College Football Playoffs Discussion (12 Team Format)

Was there a play that we can say, "What the hell are you doing, James?"
I'm not talking about little "why did you run when you should have passed" plays. I'm talking about not giving it to Warren on four plays inside the 5, or running read-options with McSorely in 2017, or having McSorely hand it off (after 3 time outs) in 2018. I don't know that I can think of a play like that in this game.

I agree. Franklin really didn't do anything particularly Franklinish today. Domers just made more plays and Allar isn't a very good QB. That's about it.

I've seen people talking about the timeout with 14 seconds left. I think that was a good call. It guaranteed that PSU would get the ball back and ND could not do a walk off FG. All are low % for a win, but I have to think that finishing with the ball on offense is better odds than icing a decent kicker on a 42 yarder.

This is why I have never bet on a game. But I do like to think about where it will go. Can’t believe the second half scoring in that game.
Yeah. Do NOT download the Hard Rock app.

It's too tempting.

Recently they tried to get me to bet on Table Tennis.

Now I'm addicted to betting on the WNBA and Table Tennis.

Freeman's a helluva coach, man. Kept his team locked in after that NIU loss and will play dorms NC with Riley freaking Leonard as his QB
There’s a lot of Tressel in him and this team. Younger, more energetic but similar. They got dudes that can go man on man in the secondary, they have LBs that read, diagnose and tackle and some tough DL guys that use slants/stunts to disrupt (like Heacock did).

Then on offense it’s an RB stable and a Krenzel type QB getting it done. They are well coached and have found ways to win. There was new buy in after NIU and they believe.
