Both feet planted, ball hitting the receivers hands and taking contact a fraction of the second after the ball arrives.

Kid hadn't even left his feet, yet he's somehow defenseless. I'll never get in step with this new age of football.

Also, as for the "target". Eyes up, run through chest. There's always bound to be a bit of facemask or helmet contact incidentally.
