It is. I remember that wild comeback several years ago in the elite 8 where Syracuse was down big against Virginia and stormed back after coming out of their 2-3 zone and pressed full court.

He played a hell a game. The fact he is barely 18 and should be a senior in hs blows my mind. He is going to be a good one in the NBA.

Watched the second half this morning without knowing the result.

Auburn and Duke both blew double-digit second half leads? Best night of hoops in decades.

The flagrant foul in Gattis (xfer from Purdue) was a big part of the comeback. Houston was down 14 when they hit a 3 and Gattis swung an elbow into a guy’s chops under the boards. Houston hit 1 of the free throws and got a bucket from the extra possession.

So the lead went from 14 to 8 without Duke getting possession.

But Duke still had the ball and a 7-point lead with 1:40 left when they started turning it over. And a 6-point lead with about 33 seconds left when Houston hit a 3 after Flagg flew by the shooter,

So, the question is, is it worth not having early round upsets to get the best teams to this point so we can enjoy games like these?
