2024-2025 College Basketball General Discussion

That’s why you hire a real coach. To win real games. Not some bozo who hasn’t even coached Akron

Cracks me up when people use the "Ohio State is a football school what do you expect" line for Ohio State making a lazy hire of a assistant of the former fired coach without even attempting to bring in anyone from the outside. Florida, Auburn, Bama and Tennessee also care way more about football than basketball and they are all currently in the top 10.

God you are such a prisoner of the moment. Bama hasn't been shit for years now suddenly they are good clearly they care more? Meanwhile Florida, Auburn, Tennessee care so much about football they have all been pretty shit for over a decade.

Yes they do care more. Hiring an assistant of a failed program shows you don’t care. Is that too difficult to understand?

College basketball winners, losers on eve of Selection Sunday

Loser: South Carolina State forgets the score in MEAC title game

South Carolina State lost the MEAC title game in the worst fashion possible against Norfolk State. After South Carolina State recorded a steal and scored a basket with less than 10 seconds remaining to tie the game at 65, a player on South Carolina State fouled on the ensuing inbounds pass while Norfolk State was in the bonus. Norfolk State's Christian Ings drained a go-ahead free throw, and his team got a stop on the ensuing possession to seal a 66-65 win. Norfolk State will make its third NCAA Tournament appearance since the 2020-21 season.
