Apparently, the dfbia's take on Spin Pass disappearing yesterday when faced with the first team with pulse he played and no Stalions on the sideline is that tsun is so good that they can beat PSU with just their running game and not show any film to Ohio State. It was all part of their too smart for normal people to understand plan.

That did kind of happen last year, because Knowles game planned up an aggressive run D, and TCUN threw more. Way too aggressive. I think Diaz kind of got too aggressive yesterday, which as we know can leave a D open to big losses.

I think this year Knowles has put in place a system that allows the D to take account for the run and pass without having to guess which one is coming. It has been pretty consistent, and not as aggressive.

With that said, sometimes fans over think things. Moore was probably using the run because it was working. In the end, every coach just wants to leave with a win.

If my memory is correct the podcasts from when OSU played PSU, they mentioned that PSU's interior D line was vulnerable. So the vaunted run D isn't really accurate.

Really hoping we get Ransom back for the the Game, because it allows Styles to move closer, which was better against the run.

I remember the boys running Enron had a plan like that. It didn’t end well.

As a TCUN fan, my first thought should be we scored 41 on PSU last year, and had to dink ourselves to 24 points this year. Since this is "our year", what changed? Lol

Also, I would be thinking, man UGA and AL are starting to look really really good. Our program just committed suicide, and we ain't coming out of this year with a championship.

Don't think it's due to them being that good. More like PSU's offense cannot function against good defenses and Manny Diaz is too stupid to not overblitz and allow a mediocre run game to gash them after they overpursue.
Blitz so when you guess wrong you get gashed by normal run plays, slant the DL so when you guess wrong you get gashed by normal run plays, and have your DEs get up field so far on every single play you get gashed by normal run plays.

It’s an entire system based on trying to guess right with the blitz/slant which is completely useless against a 1980s offense that’s not taking any chances and guaranteeing you guess wrong at least half the time by just running the ball left or right.
