2023 Spring Practices and Other Tidbits

IMO, this season will be much like Strouds 2021 season as a 1st year starter. Fans will hate whomever is the QB early on and want the backup, then he'll settle in and find a rhythm and start lighting it up. If OSU can start 4-0 and win the dog fight against ND, I can see the offense coming together really well. At Wisky will be tough, but I don't think they have the horses to keep up for an entire game, and after that the next toughest game will be: The Game

Schedule is just brutal this year, part of why I'm bummed we couldn't win it last year because this year will be much more difficult even with the talent we have.

I am happy to hear Kenyatta is tearing it up and McKenzie is coming along. A killer DL is so crucial. Both titles in recent years has great DLs and depth to go with talent. OL is a big question mark, but our guards and experience from Fryar last year is a good start. I think it'll pan out well, but only concern is initial chemistry to me.

Really hoping Hancock seizes the moment, talent is there in droves and he is a good kid. And by seize the moment, I mean rotate with Davison and make plays when he is in. Or you could see nickel packages where they are both on the field. Either way, rooting for Hancock, true Buckeye and seems to have put in the work for success.

I know they are saying that Devin won't lose his momentum due to the injury but you can bet your ass if Kyle throws over 80% a couple TDs and moves the Offense consistently on Saturday, it'll be his job starting in the summer to lose. I do hope Devin gets significant playing time no matter what in the Fall because we need at least 2 good QBs that can help us win.
