I don’t even get the strategy. I mean “don’t give up the big play or you’ll end up on Sportscenter”. Yeah, but you have a chance to stop them, and if you give up the big play, there’s still time left on the clock…give up the 9 play 80 yard drive, and you guaranteed lose with like 20 seconds remaining.

Third and 18 and they let the QB have all day to find a receiver instead of forcing him to make a quick decision.
