Early goings, but there's a small part of me that thinks we may have been too hard on Day. This is an entirely different beast than Urban or Tress had to face. Bama is getting destroyed in the trenches, which no SCUM team in the past 20 years or so would've been able to do.

As much as I hate to admit it, the last couple years they've had the best teams they've had in years.

This Bama team is not even close to Sabans better teams they’ve been shaky all year you gotta put that into the context. This isn’t some juggernaut Bama squad.

Truth to both of these.

Beck is a solid QB for UGA, but a step down from Bennett in terms of leading a team to victory in tough games (Beck is a better NFL "prospect" in the traditional sense of measurable, but Bennett is battle tested while Beck is not) so he flopped against Bama a bit. And UGA overall has been mortal compared to 2021-22.

However Bama isn't theBama of old. in a way Georgia going toe to toe on the trail with them has led Bama to also be less stacked as they were before Kirby came into the picture on the trail
