Good thing Musburger wasn't in the booth. They had the game and her split-screened for like 50% of the game. Network decided this noon bowl game on a Tuesday in Detroit may not be as attractive as this gal, so let's show her as often as possible. Smart really, I enjoyed it, Nice win for Minnesota after a rough year.
The sad part is that she is pretty knowledgeable on the sport, it is just her voice that makes your skin crawl. If she had a better broadcaster voice, then I would be totally alright with her announcing a game. But the voice is like a flock of seagulls going through an airplane propeller.
She also can’t get anyones name right…like ever. Who can forget “Braxton Oliver” which somehow bizarrely combined our QBs first name with the last name of the Buffalo RB…and she used it for like an entire quarter. She’s just awful. I don’t care that she’s a woman. She’s just terrible at her job.
Kind of late to the game, I see their QB opted out of the game. I understand why these kids are doing this but this is really bad for college football.
Why do they even have bowl games anymore if all the top players are going to opt out? I get that they're thinking of their future and I respect that 100% but the games are going to be a joke.
