2023-2024 College Basketball General Discussion

Not calling a foul just because it's the end of the game is more egregious. I'm glad Terry Porter doesn't agree with you guys.
The UConn player made the mistake of setting a terrible moving screen. How about she decided the game by trying to cheat. The refs were absolutely right in calling that foul.

I'm surprised many people expected the refs to swallow rhe whistle just because it's the end of the game. The foul was blatant. I get the sense that she could've clotheslined the Iowa defender if she wanted to - at least according to the people who want the refs to stay out of the ending.

Edwards did so many things wrong it's shocking anyone contests the call
Screener must be stationary and legs shoulder length apart.. she is lunging and her feet are 5 ft apart
Screener must allow the opposing player time for one step to avoid - she literally launches into Marshall
Screener may not use their arms... Edwards extends her elbow to virtually grab Marshall.. so much so that if you stop it you see Marshalls arm pinned between Edwards' extended elbow and her body .. then she retracts and tucks her arm as fast as possible to make it seem that was her position the whole time

They are finally getting called for all the pushing- pulling- hacking and slashing they do. Move your feet out get called. It's about time
You talking about the touch fouls on CC they called? Or the shove off that wasn’t called? They’ve been letting them play a bit but you can’t touch CC without a foul call

I'm talking about the way Staley's team always plays. Calls will get missed no doubt but when one team is allowed to get brutalized the whole game it's too close to a Buckeye game for my liking.
