DePaul hasn't won 20 games in a season since W Bush's 2nd term. You can't call them a dead program because they weren't ever really relevant after the early 90s.

Kinda like UNLV without Tark, Larry Johnson and that national success :lol:

See above post. Tark brought the talent to UNLV, he was sort of a thug whisperer, brought the same type to Fresno State but was unable to replicate the success he had at UNLV.

But there's no reason for DePaul to be this bad. Chicago High school basketball is decently good overall. Even if they miss on the top tier guys, they should at least be semi-competitive with what's left but they never are.

that's another thing that's changed since the old days, not as many kids are going out for sports and the better ones are going to specialized academies across the country.
