He just had his arraignment. His lawyer says he was in the process of getting his CPL (now has it) when he was pulled over with the gun in his car. So basically he started carrying his gun in his car like weeks before he was allowed to legally. When he was pulled over he let the officer know he had a gun in the car and that he was getting in the process of getting his CPL (which is why he wasn't arrested on scene).

What supposedly actually happened.

So he was carrying like he had the license before he actually had the license, very much against the law, and very much stupid. "No one got hurt what's the big deal" attitude doesn't excuse that.

Michigan fans are trying to say its an expired CCW even though you can't get a CCW in Michigan until you're 21 and he's only been 21 for like 5 months.

And CCW licenses are for five years.

Top of my mind, there are three possibilities: Either he does not have a CCW license; he does and failed to produce it and declare that there were loaded weapons in the cabin; or he was intoxicated.

Exact circumstances (and political views on guns) are irrelevant. It boils down to something really simple. tsun and Simple Jim knew that one of their star players had been arrested for and was about to be charged with a felony, and they covered it up until after The Game.

Can you imagine the dfbia's pearl clutching if this was us? And by pearls, I mean anal beads.

They know that the star player KNEW he was illegally doing something as well. Not just that he committed the crime, he knew he didn't have the proper clearance to do what he was doing, but did it anyway.

DFBIA is taking the "no one got hurt there's no big deal, anyone wanting him to be punished is a bad person" high road here. Fucking hysterical.

No one is advocating to throw him in prison or anything, but at least make him sit a game or even a half or something. Knowing scUM though they will slide on him not facing any kind of punishment and carry on as normal. While pretending to still be the beacon of moral superiority in college sports.

Look at the bright side for them, it's a better look than a rapist punter. I mean, really, who hasn't had a felony weapons charge at some point when they were younger?

Do they still do the jersey of famous players thing? Maybe he could wear the Frank Clark Felonious DLineman of note jersey.
Special "00" double-aught jersey?

But Hairball said that Mazi feels really bad about the incident and vouched for his character. What would any higher court have to judge beyond that? Hairball has spoken. Let's go back to scolding little brother for shenanigans in the tunnel.
