It's not always so much about how the win, sometimes it's about how you show up. If your assessment is even remotely accurate, it would have been best for Day to decline the invite all together.

And, this part isn't directed at you NF, should anyone here who feels these traditional bowls are meaningless exhibition type scrimmages now, then you really shouldn't even register a word of complaint.

I know I'm starting to sound like a broken record,, but my esteem for CFB in general is waning. Too much is changing too fast and not for the better*, IMO.

* By better, I should qualify better for fans, me specifically. The changes are great for the athletes and it was inevitable.
