2022 Rose Bowl, tOSU vs Utah, Jan 1st @ 5pm EST, ESPN

Well, here is my views on the game and season

The Good

- They didn't crumble after a terrible first half. Reports indicate that Demario McCall gave a rousing halftime speech that propelled them to do enough in the 2nd half to win.
- OSU may have the most explosive passing attack I have ever seen on any level.
- While all the WRs are fast, sure-handed and talented, I think it's CJ making them what they are and not the other way around.
- Cj will be the first OSU QB to make a big splash in the NFL. He has prototypical size, is amazingly accurate, can run when he needs to, and has great leadership
- This team was one of the youngest I've seen at OSU (the "Super Sophs" come to mind, but I was too young to remember them)
- They finished 11-2 and won the Rose Bowl and that is considered a down year.
- Ruggles was awesome. I had no doubts that he would make that kick to win the game.

the Bad

- The defense (surprise!). This edition was the worst I can remember. They allowed way too many points and way too many yards
- Harrison was supposed to be the next great DE at OSU, but pretty much disappeared all season.
- Some head-scratching decisions from the coaching staff. That kickoff to their KR that already returned one for a TD was one of the more jaw-dropping decisions I have ever seen.
- Losing to dUMb is never acceptable at any time. Coming out with no fire or drive and getting blown off the ball was frustrating.
- The running game was inconsistent. OSU had plenty of talent at RB and some real road-graders on the Oline but just didn't establish the run with any consistency.

Wanted to go to the game, but we had so much snow and canceled flights this week and I was worried I wouldn't even get into the game honestly. But went to a good friends for a game watch party and had a blast. I won't say anything that is earth-shattering, but what a freaking game. Stroud and JSN were just off the charts and ready to make history, but you also saw the freshman talent we have...if the OL holds up their end, the offense is going to be absolutely scary next year. As expected, come game day I was up for the game and excited to watch it even with the disappointing season ending beforehand. Great year overall and the future is bright. Enjoy the rest of the holidays my Buckeye friends.

He was absolutely not down. Dropped the ball before he went down, didn't pick it up until he stood up
That’s true, but as he stood up there were 2 Buckeyes right in front of him that I’m assuming didn’t try to tackle him because the whistle had blown. If the refs hadn’t made a call that the play was over, he wasn’t going very far.

Possibly a Mormon taking his mission time.

Yeah, it was; the family is actually die hard BYU fans. In addition, he is married.

His grandfather was Stephen R. Covey, who wrote the best-selling book “The 7 Habits of Highly Successful People,”. It had sold more than 40 million copies.

Say what?.....

Britain Covey Net Worth
Britain Covey estimated net worth is around $4 million dollars to $6 million dollars.
His average monthly income is said to range from $80 thousand dollars to $85 thousand dollars.

Apparently his family is very well off; and I'm guessing that Utah has the best NIL program in college football, Britain has a great job in the family business (CoveyLink Worldwide, LLC), and/or Britain has one hell of trust fund.
