Major props to Tommy Eichenberg. I was critical of him early in the season but he showed up tonight and played a hell of a game. It’s great to see that growth.

Really big program win. So many reasons this could have gone wrong, but these guys fought hard, which is exactly what you wanna see.

The first half is what I feared. The second half gives me some hope.

Still a ton of shit to clean up but thank god they showed some fight.

The defense showed some heart and won the 2nd half 27-10. It will be interesting to see what Knowles can do with these guys next year.

Since I was whining in the 1st half I feel like I need to not-whine now. The guys bowed up in the 2nd half and came through. Was great to see

If there was any doubt, I think we just found out what kind of coach Ryan Day is. He's going to take a cold, NFL approach and unfuck the defense. And I think he now truly understands what The Game means, and he won't take it for granted again.

I certainly hope so. For his sake.
